Freshwater Ecologist Network

It has become evident that the Cape Town office of the SAS Environmental Group of Companies had become well established in the Western Cape and runs as a discreet unit. The unit has performed extremely well and has an established client base. In order to optimise our service offering, it was decided that the Cape Town satellite branch of the SAS Environmental Group of Companies will be rebranded as FEN Consulting (Freshwater Ecologist Network Consulting) and became a separate trading entity forming part of the larger SAS Environmental Group of Companies. FEN Consulting provides environmental specialist consulting services for the Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces.

FEN Consulting is managed by the company shareholders based in Cape Town to ensure the same level of service provision previously provided to our clients under the previous trading entity. Stephen van Staden remains a key shareholder in the company and retains a hand-on oversight role in the company along with providing document review, financial direction and case specific field assessment as a part of the FEN Consulting staff.

FEN Consulting is able to draw on the expertise of the more than 20 ecologists and scientists in the SAS Environmental Group of Companies to ensure that at all time the highest level of critical thinking goes into all projects and services delivered.
